Adrian Antonio Enzastiga is a playwright, poet, and Midwest princess from Omaha, Nebraska. Adrian received his BA in Creative Writing at The University of Iowa, and he is graduating from the Iowa Playwright’s Workshop this spring. He writes drag musicals, absurdist comedies, documentary plays, and reverse coming-of-age stories. Because theatre is a space of community, he prioritizes the celebration of joy in all its forms in everything he writes. He is inspired by fellow artists Tennessee Williams, Luis Valdez, and Jinkx Monsoon. His hobbies include: Pokemon Go, Dungeons & Dragons, Lego-building, and taking naps with his cat Annie.
